1.Have a budget and stick to it:
Don’t just spend as you earn this year, invest too. Invest in what you understand - shares, properties, business etc. Don’t spend all your money on aso-ebi or on other expenses that add no real value to you this year. Make savings and investments a priority. It will come at a cost but it will be worth it.
.
.
2. Consistent family devotion:
Life can get so busy that everyone goes about their individual lives without having time to meet and pray as a family. In my family we have a day of the week where we have chosen to intentionally pray and study God’s word together despite our busy schedules. A family that prays together stays together.

.
3. Walk in love:
Choose your words wisely. Correct in love avoiding negative criticisms. Call one another more frequently and be willing to give your listening listening ears. Make room for faults and forgive in advance.
.
.
4. Take a break:
Be intentional about taking a break not just to rest but also to spend time with your family. Spend time with your spouse, take time to know what is happening in your children’s lives. Let your family know that you value them.
.
.
5. Live within your means:
You will always see families who seem to be doing better than you in some aspects of life. You may be tempted to try to compete with them or try to fit in. It is not necessary, don’t go into debt trying to paint a picture of what you are not on social media or anywhere else. Be content with what you have as a family.
