1.To see your doctor for a routine medical check up if you haven’t done so in the last two years.
2. To avoid eating late dinners. Ideally eat before 7pm.
3. To stop/reduce the quantity of caffeine, alcohol and other substances that you may be addicted to.
4. To reduce your consumption of junk food. If you take it everyday, you can start making it only six days a week instead until you finally get rid of them.
5. To avoid self-medicating as much as possible.
6. To finish your course of antibiotics or any other prescription you are given by your doctor. I know many of us are on this table .
7. To take time to sleep for at least 6 hours daily. Your body needs this.
8. To be intentional about drinking 6-8 glasses of water or about 2 litres daily. Getting a water bottle may help you keep on too of this.
9. To spend at least 20 minutes exercising daily - it could just be as simple as going for a walk.
10. To achieve/maintain a healthy weight this year. A BMI of between 19-25 is ideal. A waist circumference of 37 inches and 32 inches for men and women respectively.
I hope this helps you.
May God grant us all good health this year.
